Revision - Knowledge Application
The month before the exam is the month of revision and you will be provided with summations of the knowledge, but the focus will be mainly on its application. There are often many alternative ways in which marks can be earned on SBL tasks, and my explanatory debrief videos will explain how they can be achieved. Again, real ACCA SBL markers will mark and give detailed feedback to 4 homework questions and 2 full exam standard mocks on the ACCA CBE platform.
Step 1
Tuition - Knowledge understanding
SBL is a practical exam and rather than help you learn the syllabus I’ll begin by helping you understand the syllabus through interactive video lectures. These will be complemented with quizzes and real exam questions with realistic video debriefs on how to obtain marks. Real ACCA SBL markers will mark and give detailed feedback to 4 homework questions and a full exam standard mock on the ACCA CBE platform in the month leading up to knowledge application stage.
Platinum Package versus Platinum Plus
The plus in this course is that includes an introductory meeting, a personalised timetable, Four fully marked mocks (not three), has six (not three) live support sessions to give you that extra help on your exam journey.
Step 3
Final mock written to reflect the published pre-seen
Having completed stages1 & 2 you will now be a finely tuned student of SBL and to consolidate your learning at this stage you will be required to complete a final mock written to reflect the content of pre seen material released a few days earlier.
Pass assurance and payment plan
Sean believes that he is providing you with all the support that you need to pass SBL first time with him. If you fail the exam, he will help you resit straight away by enabling you to do the Platinum course again including 3 fully marked mock exams. If needed there is also the option of a payment plan where you can spread the cost of your course.
Key terms and conditions
1. Pass assurance
The Platinum Plus Package will give you the very best chance of passing SBL.
However, if you do, need to re-sit, you can join the Platinum course again, free of charge.
To qualify for Pass Assurance, you must:
1. Submit all homework on time
2.Score at least 40% on the Final Mock
3.Score at least 40% in the real exam
4. Notify me of your ACCA result and request re-enrolment within one week of receiving your results
If you don’t meet these terms, I will still support you for your re-sit.
You will be able to access course materials again to help you pass the exam (no marking or live sessions included).
2. Deferral policy
If you need to defer the course (e.g. as you need to re-sit another exam), you can do so free of charge.
You can only defer once; no subsequent deferral is allowed.
The cut-off for deferring is before the first full mock exam approximately 6 weeks before your exam date.

On registration you get immediate and full access to the tuition phase of the course! You can start straight away. Lectures are on demand. You study at your pace. Registrations will close approximately eight weeks before the exam day.

You work through the interactive videos as supported by mind maps, quizzes, articles and homework. You study when and where you want to. Everything needed for you to pass SBL is included within the course, and you need no extra materials.
Sean is very aware that SBL is a very different exam to other ACCA exams and has designed a course to ensure you perform exactly as the examining team want. It is a practical exam which requires understanding and not learning! Sean’s course assumes no prior knowledge.
