There are lots of choices out there when choosing to study and it can be difficult to understand the best option – especially when everyone claims to be an expert or a Guru.
I think the best way of assessing whether the lecturer is indeed an expert is to see how much the ACCA use them to contribute to help them in their SBL resources. I would advise you to put their name into the various official resources the ACCA provide such as the ACCA Study Hub, ACCA Student Accountant or the Official ACCA YouTube channel.
If nothing comes up you might want to question the validity of their self proclaimed expertise as if that was the case surely the ACCA would use them to help in the study of SBL!

You then might want to ask why the ACCA trust me to contribute so much. When seeking free resources my advice would be to focus on the free official resources provided by ACCA and not some random person on YouTube or Facebook as their resources will not have been evaluated as relevant by the ACCA Education team and quite often they contain incorrect information.
